Biography

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, I had a happy but poor childhood. My father was a fireman for most of my youth and retired as a captain in the Cleveland Fire Department. My mother stayed at home until I was about 21. Then she went to work for the Medina School District. I attended St. Ignatius Elementary School for 8 years and then went to St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland for 4 more years until I graduated. After graduation, I attended John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.

When I was 21, I was married and moved to Alhambra, California. After working at several different jobs, I became a salesman ADT. After an intensive investigation, I received Top Secret clearance to inspect places like JPL for burglary and fire alarms. After 2 years, I went to work for Lever Brothers Company. I worked for them for about 16 years.

During that time, I had 2 wonderful daughters, Wendy Jones and Jacquelyn Jones, got a divorce, and married my current wife of 37 years, Raye Nell Jones. Raye had 3 wonderful children, Ronald, Jason, and Carla which I raised as my own. Jason and Carla were twins.

After I left Lever Brothers, I started my own business by buying a Sir Speedy franchise. Raye was the sales person and I managed the business. We were very successful and became one of the top franchises in only 2 years. After about 3 years, we sold the Sir Speedy and opened another printing business, Ultimate Image Printing. After about 10 years in 1994, we sold that business and opened an internet business called Instant Savings.

In 1996, we sold Instant Savings, I retired, and we moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Although we had a wonderful home in Corona del Mar, California which was only a few blocks from the beach, we both love Las Vegas and Nevada. We think that Nevada is a great state.

Then in 2010, we were so happy here and we think that Nevada is a great state. So, in 2010, I ran for State Senator in District 9 against Elizabeth Halstaff.

In 2011, I was elected Secretary of the Clark County Independent American Party. Then in 2012, I was elected Chairman of the Clark County Independent American Party.

Now I am running for the United States Congress in District 3.

Our family consists of our 5 children and 8 grandchildren. It is the children and grandchildren that worry me. Our children and grandchildren deserve a future that is debt free. Our generation should not burden our children and grandchildren with our debt. As of August of 2008, the United States debt is 8.6 trillion dollars and growing. This amounts to over $130,000 per man, woman, and child in the United States.
